Word from Gaz 27-11-21
People have asked the question weather to stay or go from the City or towns!
But it is not as simple as that. I was talking with a friend who has moved here with us and we agreed that as part of our preparing seeking God for His will is the most important thing we can do.
Some people tell those who have moved to desolate places that they have done so from fear! But that is an untruth, as we have moved by faith. We believe God has moved us to where He wants us for His will.
I believe God will cause many to stay where they are, again for His purpose and will.
And yes there is another group who do not know what to do, and these are the ones who stay out of fear!
Fear they would have to give up all the worldly goods and chattels they have built up and the comforts they have. These people put their trust in mammon and not in God.
Those God calls to stay as witnesses, may have to give up all things including their lives to help people know the truth and be saved through Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart they will help people escape the cities and towns to places of Sanctuary.
We who God has called to set up Sanctuaries still may be called to put our lives on the block for Christ even though we where obedient. Remember our lives are not ours but belong to Christ Jesus, so all we do are just our nominal service, what we are expected to do as part of our obedience and if we loose our lives in what we do that is still duty for Christ and for our God.
If we loose our lives protecting those God sends to us then we are blessed. So weather we live or die, we need to do it for the Glory of God.
This post is to remind you all what our obligations are as followers of Christ Jesus. To obey His commandments, to take up our cross and follow Him, Daily. Everyday is a new day to Praise and worship our Lord and Saviour and Love one another as Christ loves you!
Most people do not know the suffering, pain and death that will soon be on us. This world and all the things we have in this world is an illusion that blinds us and binds us that have not had our eyes opened. Third world countries live this horror now in many cases, and yet even what they go through is just a shadow of what is to come.
When God called us to prepare, He is getting us ready to lighten the burden for us. We still will go through this Tribulation but God prepares us to be able to stand firm no matter what happen.
Ignorance of these times will kill many, for those of us that study Gods word and like the ant put up stores, we will have a spiritual life raft to keep us out of the water so to speak.
I have put up some information on parts of Revelations, but it is better if you read and study the whole thing. Yes some denominations have different views on what will happen, but I prefer to look and study for myself. Many people don't study themselves but leave it to other. These Christins are spiritually children and still live on milk, not the meat of Gods word.
The apostle Paul wrote to the evangelist Timothy, Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
This verse well-illustrates the need for understanding that word meanings may change, and we must be ever on guard against misapplying or twisting scripture, even when we try to teach the truth. The rendering, study to show thyself approved unto God is found only in the King James Version, translated in the year 1611. In 1611 the word study meant strive, or be diligent. Thus the New American Standard Bible renders the verse, Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth. The New International Version renders the verse, Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
Bible study is very important, but 2 Timothy 2:15 is not just a command to study the Bible. Being an approved workman involves much more. Paul wanted Timothy to understand that to be a workman that God could approve, he would have to be diligent in his service to God. God is not the kind of Master that accepts shoddy work! By earnestly applying himself in service, Timothy would not need to be ashamed as he stood before God in the day of judgment. To be that diligent, approved workman, he would have to correctly handle the word of truth, what the King James Version renders, rightly dividing the word of truth. Of necessity, correctly handling the Bible, the word of truth will involve much study, contemplation, and prayer. It will involve bringing an open mind, an open heart, and a faithful life to the word of truth. Implied in the correct handling is the proper understanding of the divisions between the Old and the New Covenants, understanding that the New Testament is the rule of faith and practice for Christians today.
The goal of being an approved workman should be the goal of all of God’s children. In the verses immediately before 2 Timothy 2:15, Paul stressed the importance of living faithfully before God, even to the point of suffering. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us (2 Timothy 2:12). He then told Timothy, Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers (2 Timothy 2:14). The evangelist Timothy was to remind his hearers of the sacrifice of Christ, the need for serving Him, and the need to work diligently to be approved workmen before God. The diligent application of all our energy to the service of God will allow us to join Timothy standing before God without shame. Nothing will help us more to please God than to handle carefully and correctly God’s written word. We should look to the written word of God with the same reverence as the psalmist who wrote, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105).
I was not going to make this an epistle, but as I write the Lord keeps adding to my thought. All we do and say is in Love, to build and encourage you all in every area of your lives. Some times I feel like a spiritual life guard and God has me on duty all the time. But as I write what I believe God has put on my heart, I too learn, study and increase in faith.
Getting back to Revelations and there are other prophetic book speaking of end-times and they like Christs own word on the subject needs to be looked at and gleaned with pray and Faith.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord” (James 1:5-7, NKJV).
We know in Revelation there are symbols to illustrate things and events, The colour black symbolises suffering and death in the Bible. It’s used to represent mourning (Job 30:28, 30, Jeremiah 14:2), famine (Lamentations 5:10, Revelation 6:5), judgment of sin (Jude 13), death and the grave (Job 10:21-22), and more. The colour black lacks brightness and hue. It does not reflect any light.
Revelation 6:5-6
The apostle John's description of this third horse and horseman is once again spare, as he provides us only two pertinent details: the black colour of the horse and the rider's pair of scales. Both of these details, though, point to an overall interpretation of famine, which verse 8 verifies by saying this rider has power to kill "with hunger." In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus also names this seal as "famine" (Matthew 24:7).
We modern people tend to consider black to be the opposite of white, so to us, black is the colour of evil, personified in the almost totally black costume of Darth Vader in Star Wars. The ancients made no such symbolic contrast (but see Matthew 5:36), although they did see symbolic opposites in darkness and light. Biblically, black is not the colour of sin but simply an object's true colour. Black, blackness, and blacker are found 23 times in the Bible, describing the sky, hair, cloth, marble, skin, night, ravens, cumin, and horses. In each occurrence, blackness appears to be a synonym for "darkness."
This does not mean, however, that the colour black holds no symbolic meaning. It certainly has overtones of foreboding. Specifically, the Israelites used black to signify the mournful and unhealthy mien of those enduring scarcity, want, and famine, particularly as a judgment from God. Notice:
» Jeremiah 14:2: Judah mourns, and her gates languish; they mourn [literally, are black] for the land, and the cry of Jerusalem has gone up.
» Lamentations 5:10: Our skin is hot [literally, black] as an oven, because of the fever of famine.
» Joel 2:6: Before them the people writhe in pain; all faces are drained of colour [literally, gather blackness].
» Nahum 2:10: She is empty, desolate, and waste! The heart melts, and the knees shake; much pain is in every side, and all their faces are drained of colour [literally, gather blackness].
To a Hebrew, the black horse of the third seal would picture the illness and dearth of a famine, specifically the dirt and squalor of those who had nothing.
The study below is just a small part of Revelations, but is just a sample of what God will bring on the earth in His time. All we can do is make sure we prepare and are ready when it finally comes to pass.
Study:
The four horsemen in Revelation are symbolic. The imagery of the four horsemen is a way to depict the coming of adverse events that will impact the earth. These events are described in Revelation 6:1-8. Here is an overview of the four horsemen in Revelation:
White Horse (1st Seal): The appearance of the Antichrist on the world stage as a false messiah:
“And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” (Revelation 6:2)
Red Horse (2nd Seal): The onset of global conflict (with Antichrist involved in these conflicts):
“And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.” (Revelation 6:4)
Black Horse (3rd Seal): The arrival of extreme global famine:
“(5) And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. (6) And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” (Revelation 6:5–6)
It’s worth noting that wheat prices and barley prices would need to be many times greater than they are today to achieve the type of famine described in the third seal.
Pale Horse (4th Seal): Widespread disease and death will decimate 25% of the world’s population
“And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.” (Revelation 6:8)
This is not a misprint. 25% of the world’s population will die from the events of the pale horse. That’s billions of people…
It’s hard to fathom billions of people dying in such a short amount of time. That many deaths will alter families, relationships, politics, economics, societies, and much more.
The Timing of the Four Horsemen
The events of the four horsemen will occur in the first half of the tribulation (also known as the 70th week of Daniel).
The first seal remains unopened as it corresponds to what the Antichrist will do at the start of the tribulation.
The fifth seal relates to the great tribulation, the worst persecution in history of the world. The great tribulation will begin at the midpoint of the tribulation.
The tribulation is 7 years in length. Therefore, the events of the four horsemen will take place during the first 3.5 years of the tribulation.
Preparing in the Time of the Four Horsemen
Although it will terrible time, a small window of opportunity will still exist for people to prepare for the great tribulation as the events of the four horsemen take place.
The Antichrist is unlikely to persecute many who oppose him on religious grounds during this time as he will be busy building his empire.
Also, the punitive Mark of the Beast system won’t be in place since Antichrist won’t yet have the control over the world to set it up and enforce it.
In other words, the Antichrist will focus on amassing power rather than using his power to make life miserable for those who oppose him. Once Antichrist gains control of the world he will then persecute and seek to kill his enemies with the full force of the power he’s gained.
Final Thoughts
We can safely say that it will not be a fun time on the earth when it is time of the four horsemen in Revelation. Billions of people will die at that time. However, global conditions will get even worse after the events of the four horsemen in Revelation, especially for those who will oppose the Antichrist.
