A Word from Gaz for Healing. 21-10-20
Healing does not come about in your mind or body but in absolute faith and trust in God's Word.
I have heard people and ministers say you can heal yourself!
The only thing we can do is to be obedient to Gods Word.
“So I am sitting hear with past family hurts, and also have cancer! How then am I supposed to be healed!”
First off you are already healed!
1 Peter 2:24 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Isaiah 53:5-8 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes[c] we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord [d]has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
8 He was taken from [e]prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
Your faith is what brings healing to your body and mind. If you will believe Gods word!
I will restore your health, and I will heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord.” — Jeremiah 30:17
The Good News: The Lord will always be there to bring you back from any loss of hope or faith.
“I believe but still have hurtful memories of my past or I still have some sickness or disease!
Some times God heals with a miracle, other times He takes His time! By going through these ordeals it build our Holy Faith and we grow as Christians able to help others!
Proverbs 4:20-23 NKJV
My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
But my faith is not strong, what can I do:
James 5:14-15 NKJV
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Some times we need others to help! This verse did not say they where healed!
It says they would be saved. With true salvation comes trust in God and His Word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God!
Some times we cannot do things by ourselves, do not be afraid to ask for help! The devil wants you alone and in pain. He knows if you accept your healing then you will be alive and on fire for God!
It does not matter what you have gone through in your life, as there is always some one else who has gone through worse! But if you do not accept Gods gift of healing; you get to keep your pain and suffering, physical or mental.
“The Lord Most High is the one who gives life to every heart, who gives life to the spirit! Look, he indeed exchanged my bitterness for wholeness. You yourself have spared my whole being from the pit of destruction, because you have cast all my sins behind your back.” – Isaiah 38:16-17
Sometimes to heal, you have to go through some very difficult parts of your life, but there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.
"No temptation has seized you that isn’t common for people. But God is faithful. He won’t allow you to be tempted beyond your abilities. Instead, with the temptation, God will also supply a way out so that you will be able to endure it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13
Whatever you may be feeling right now is perfectly normal. You are not the first person to cope with it, and you definitely won’t be the last. Be patient with yourself and trust that the Lord wouldn’t put an obstacle in your path that you cannot overcome.
"God heals the broken hearted and bandages their wounds.” — Psalms 147:3
No matter how heartbroken you may feel, the pieces will come back together. You will heal. Give it time.
“The Lord said, ‘If you are careful to obey the Lord your God, do what God thinks is right, pay attention to his commandments, and keep all of his regulations, then I won’t bring on you any of the diseases that I brought on the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you.’” — Exodus 15:26
If you look to God, you will find He is always there to answer you. If you have faith in His power, He will guide and protect you from any troubles that may plague you.
I have given you some scriptures of Gods truth, but it takes more than just reading scripture to be healed, it takes faith and works!
James 2:14-26 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is [c]dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made [d]perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was [e]accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Ok, I believe! What do I do now!
Prayer, Fasting, Worship and Praise and the confession of our mouth and Thanksgiving in our hearts!
I know the others but confession of our mouth?
Remember what you had to do to be saved???
Romans 10: 9-13
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Well the same goes for everything in our lives.
By faith we believe and by our confession we show God our act of Faith.
So are you sick!
NO. By His stripes I am healed!
Do you still have symptoms?
Yes! But buy His stripes I am healed! Praise God.
Psalm 9:1
"I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds."
Show how grateful you are to God with all of your mind, body, and spirit. We trust in him with our whole hearts, so we should show our thanks for him with our whole beings as well.
Psalm 107:8-9
"Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things."
God is here to fulfil our every spiritual and basic need, and He satisfies our longing souls in the most caring, loving way. He will not leave us stranded.
1 Timothy 4:4-5
"For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer."
When God created the world, he made everything in his image. Every single thing was created with good intention, and nothing will turn bad, especially if we show our creator thanks.
Colossians 3:17
"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
Show your thankfulness to the Lord in every part of your life, in every way that you can. God gave you your life; so find ways to give back, even if it's in the smallest of gestures throughout the day.
And off course my favourite:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
Even in the darkest of times there is still something to be thankful for. Jesus Christ is guiding us and leading us down the right path — we just have to let him show us the way.
It does not matter what happens to you in your life if you have these attitudes of heat!
I did not say it would not hurt, I did not say your life would be easy or you may loose your life!
But what ever happens if we are in Christ Jesus we know we have our salvation!
If we die we go home! If we suffer for our faith we will receive a crown of glory!
It should make no difference to us what happens in this world, as we are not from here! But we need to live our lives in Faith! Believing God and daily following Jesus Christ!
If a Christian loved one is sick, it is up to them to do what we have said! It is our job to give them a good confession and seek Gods face for them! But it always comes back to our individual faith!
It always comes back to our individual walk with God!
Remember in this life there is only one thing you have control over! And that dear brothers and sisters is “Yourself”.
You can’t change the world, or another person, the only thing you have control over is yourself! And your walk with God!
So if you have been abuse physically and or mentally! Forgive!
Matthew 6:14-15
14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 18: 21-22
Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”
Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
And finally I say Rejoice.
Psalm 5:11
But let all who take refuge in You be glad,
Let them ever sing for joy;
And may You shelter them,
That those who love Your name may exult in You.
Isaiah 29:19
The afflicted also will increase their gladness in the Lord,
And the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
There is so much more to say regarding healing but I pray you will hear what God has put on my heart for those in pain. If we do things in our own strength, we fail, but if we do as Gods word commands us we will victory!
Proverbs 3:5-6 (nkjv)
Trust in theLord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Blessings,
Gaz.
