Gaz's Sunday Sermon.
After reading some of the comments on a member ost I thought we need to bring up about the need for triune preparedness.
Why I hate this FB site is that over the last year or more we have put up many posts relating to many subjects and yet they are not readily available, that is why we created acpreppers.proboards.com/ so you can actually see all posts and have better access to them.
That said we have often mentioned that when we look at preparedness we need to look at Body, Soul and Spirit.
When God spoke to me about being prepared He said,"Prepare". At that moment I realized that every area of my life need to come in line with His will before I could be prepared.
First, I had to get my Spiritual life/walk right with God, I then had to get my mind and thoughts right with God and then I could be free to physically prepare.
As a Christians, our focus is our RELATIONSHIP with God. There is nothing else. Unless we are in tune and in relationship with God our lives will be a meaningless.
Many think that going to church and getting into programs, praise and worship on a worldly scale will get Gods attention. But sadly, God is into personal relationship not theatrical productions.
"Be Still and know that I AM GOD."
Why do we need to seek God above all else? Because that is why we exist to fellowship with Him.
During the Tribulation if we do not have our spiritual walk with God right then we may not make it through. Because non off us have seen or have experience the turmoil that is to come!
Next we need to also look at Mental preparedness!
The battle is either one or lost in the mind. If our minds are weak then we will not survive. If our minds are strong then we have a chance. Spending time in Gods word helps strengthen our minds. We also need to like a muscle exercise our minds, by study and though and prayer. My battle was always in my mind so God has taught me to remember scripture and when the worldly thoughts come I use scripture to bring all my thoughts into line with Christ Jesus.
And off course we get into Physical preparedness. Even in the physical, we need to be in constant communication with God to make sure we are doing His will and not our own. Preparing the right type of food to put up, how we care for what we put up and making sure we have a balance of Fat, protein and carbs.
And there are other skill we need to have a grasp on even if we are not that skilled. God blesses diligence and perseverance, like the ant. We may need skills in every day living or survival, we may never need to use them but we still need to be prepared. By being prepared we honor God.
We can keep looking and studying on these topic's, but that is what God requires of each and everyone of you. It is your responsibility to seek God and His will for your life and that of your family.
That is why God spoke to Francis Bowman, and myself and other Godly people to have a site dedicated to specific needs and that was to equip Christians with the knowledge to physically prepare. There are other sites out there that specialize in the Spiritual and others dealing with the mind and other scriptural aspects of our lives and walk with God.
I'll stop here and encourage each of you to join us at :http://acpreppers.proboards.com/ where we have information readily available in easy format.
Bless you all,
Gaz
