Why Christian Preparedness "2"?
Good question. I have been studying this subject now for quite some time and every time I read a new Article the Holy Spirit gives me more incite, more understanding.
Most articles I read have between 70-98% accuracy in my view. What I mean is that for me the simple reason I believe what I believe is God spoke to my heart when my life was being swallowed up in sin and said to my spirit, "PREPARE"
I new I had to get my life back on track to Christ and His Righteousness and fully prepare for His return. This meant for me "Spiritual and Physical" preparation for what is to come.
Holiness for us is not an option, Righteousness for us is not an option, keeping our light before man is not an option for us, keeping a short account with God is not an option for us, keeping in close fellowship with God is not an option for us......
I could keep writing but you get the point. This is the truth of the Gospel our relationship with Christ, our continued confession with our mouth and our continued belief and relationship with our Lord and Saviour. Continual prayer (talking to Him) continual reading His word, continual praise and worship of our God...these are the things we need to prepare as the end times approach. Then we will be like the "Wise Virgins" who had extra oil for their lamps for when the Bride Groom comes!!!
Now many forget that when the mark of the beast is thrust upon the people of this world "Revelation 13:17" "And that no man might buy or sell, except he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."
Now if this is the case, how do we feed ourselves. Many will say God will provide and I have no doubt of that but we need to do our bit and prepare for this and not stand at the street corner begging because we where not good stewards and believed religious ideologies instead of what the word of God says about being prepared for all things.
Proverbs 6:6-11
The Folly of Laziness
6:Go to the ant, you lazy man!
Observe its ways and become wise.
7:It has no commander,
officer, or ruler,
8:but prepares its provisions in the summer
and gathers its food in the harvest.
9:How long will you lie down, lazy man?
When will you get up from your sleep?
10:A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest,
11:and your poverty will come on you like a bandit
and your desperation like an armed man.
I love to say "Noah was a prepper" Noah was a man that heard God and obeyed. We need to read and listen to Gods word and pray and listen to that small, quiet voice of Gods Spirit speaking to us.
We will all go through Tribulation weather we like it or not. But we can be prepared for it. The choice is yours.
Blessings
